Artist Statement
The 'Past Works' Page displays a collection from the last 10 years experience. My work has changed over the years. I began my interest in art when my Mom put me in one oil painting class at the age of 8. I have searched for creative ways of expression ever since. I modeled from age 14-25 and while in the beauty industry I paid for my Bachelors of Science in Alternative Medicine.

First Oil Painting, Age:8
Title: The Azores
After graduation I went on to receive my 500 hour certification in Hatha Yoga. I entered the work force and used different skill sets to work as a chiropractic assistant, boutique manager, and Art Teacher. I then went back to school and received a certification as a surgical technician and worked in the field of dermatology for 5.5 years. Since 2015 I have been creating and showing art in some capacity, I recently decided to take a leap and go full time as a Working Artist. I do commission work, so please reach out if you have any projects in mind you would like to discuss!
Get to Know the Work

Arkansas’ state Crystal is Quartz, I use broken slag glass found in Eureka Springs, AR.; in order to imitate the surface of the Quartz. To preserve these crystals in their natural habit, and still be able to enjoy their immense beauty, I create life like works that echo the likeness of these natural gems. I feel this process brings a piece of The Natural States’ Symbolism into the homes of the NorthWest Arkansas Community.

Alongside my geode work, I create large scale mixed media abstracts that explore the organic and elemental. These works display the expansiveness of cosmic atmospheres, the shifting surface of earth seen from above, and the depths of the sea. My intention is not to create and exact replica of these images, but to invite interpretation. I believe perspective is in the eye of the beholder, and each viewer brings the work to life in their own way. Through scale, texture, and fluid composition, my pieces become open landscape and spaces where imagination has a place to expand.
